Exceptional local ales at the pub!

The glass on the floor was concerning.

Comfortable bed, but the noisy plumbing kept us awake all night.

Clean room and friendly staff but no breakfast options nearby.

Our stay included a beautifully clean King Room, complete with a spacious bathroom. The landlady's friendliness and thoughtful touches for our anniversary truly enhanced our experience, making it memorable.

staying at crofters absolutely exceeded my expectations. the room was cozy, and the food selection was fantastic, especially the local ales. the welcoming staff made us feel right at home during our time in barrow-in-furness....  

Had a lovely stay in the King Room where we enjoyed breakfast in bed and a refreshing dip in the hot tub. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with comfy chairs and a beautiful flower bed. Just a heads up, the check-in process could have been a bit smoother, but overall, it didn't spoil our time at all. 😊

Just a balanced option for a brief stopover in Barrow-in-Furness with great value-to-price ratio. The room was quite small, but the beds were comfy and clean, which made for a decent sleep. Avoid the food, as it was clearly frozen and of low quality.

Charming lodge with great food and comfy beds

I recently enjoyed my stay in a beautifully decorated Double Room, complete with huge, comfortable beds. The lodge has a quaint charm alongside modern amenities, and I especially loved their delicious selection of locally sourced dishes. While the overall experience was fantastic, the wi-fi could use some improvement as it was quite spotty during my visit.

The Spanish dishes at the restaurant were a real treat—vibrant flavors that took my taste buds on a delightful journey! The lodge's sweet setup made my stay feel like a cozy retreat. Plus, the bar had a fantastic selection of local ales!...  

the bed was really comfy, had one of the best sleeps there. its super quiet and clean. was a good value for the money. loved that there was a pub right there, really helps if ur tired and hungry.

only complaint was that there was no breakfast and the check out was a bit awkward, having to drop keys at the pub. bit annoying for a hotel stay.

We had a fantastic time here! The room was spacious and beautifully clean, and the nice touches like free WiFi and extra pillows were appreciated. It was super quiet despite being near the pub, making it a perfect getaway. The gammon...  

Nice decor but noisy vibes

Staying here was a mixed bag. The room looked great, but the floorboards were super creaky, making it hard to sleep. The location isn’t ideal. not much around. We had a loud party outside our window until 3 AM! The bar area was cozy, and the staff were really friendly, which helped a bit.

The lodge offered a warm atmosphere and clean, cozy rooms, which made for a pleasant stay. food service started too late, and the kitchen faced supply issues. it was a decent experience with friendly staff, minus a few hiccups.
